TGCA is pleased to announce the appointment of Akos Balogh as Executive Director to oversee the operations of TGCA.

The Gospel Coalition Australia (TGCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of an Executive Director to oversee the operations of TGCA. Akos Balogh has been appointed to this new role; which marks a significant milestone for TGCA and represents its commitment to continue building the organisation in Australia.

TGCA is a national organisation committed to fostering ministry partnerships between like-minded evangelical churches and organisations. It also has a growing web presence through the TGCA website.

Mr Balogh completed his undergrad studies in Aerospace Engineering at UNSW, before serving in the Royal Australian Air Force for five years. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore College, before serving the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) as Campus Director at Southern Cross University in Lismore for six years. In the last two years he has been completing his Masters of Arts in Theology through the Queensland Theological College.
As the Executive Director, Akos will be responsible for overseeing the week to week operation of TGCA, in consultation with the Executive team of the TGCA council.
“I look forward to helping TGCA promote gospel ministry across Australia. We live in changing and uncertain times, and TGCA is well placed to build supportive partnerships between like-minded Christians, Churches, and organisations across our nation,” said Mr Balogh.

Gary Millar, Chair of the Council of TGCA, added ‘We are delighted that Akos is joining the team. We know he will bring both real energy and wisdom to the Gospel Coalition at a crucial time for us and for the evangelical movement in Australia.”

Akos can be contacted at [email protected]
